The school was rated ' Good' with ' Outstanding' behaviour in a recent OFSTED report. Our client is a specialist school, providing education for pupils aged 3 to 11 with a range of complex SEND, including:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Developmental delays and cognition & learning needs


The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of inclusive learning to support pupils with educational healthcare plans (EHCPs):
- Work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning in the classroom
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who need additional help
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Support pupils' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions
- Support with routine administrative tasks to aid smooth classroom operations

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Positive, flexible, and patient approach to working with young learners
- Confident in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Passionate about helping children with communication and interaction needs thrive
- Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable) or willingness to work towards one
