Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and ready to take another step in your education career? We're working with a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in Aston that's looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team.
This long-term role is ideal for someone with recent KS1 experience who is confident supporting whole-class learning, small group work, and pupils with a range of abilities. The school has a strong team ethos and is seeking someone who will fully immerse themselves in school life and build strong relationships with staff and children alike.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting the Year 2 teacher with daily classroom routines
- Leading small group interventions in reading, writing, and maths
- Providing additional support to children who may need it
- Creating a positive, engaging learning environment
- Assisting with assessments and progress tracking
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has recent experience working in KS1, ideally Year 2
- Is proactive, positive, and a great team player
- Understands the needs of pupils in a diverse, inner-city school
- Is committed to a long-term role with the potential to go permanent
