Iqra Preschool offers high quality early years learning opportunities for children 2 - 5 years old.
Unique opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to train as a nursery manager.
Successful candidate will be trained and supported by an experienced manager to manage a preschool setting.
To provide safe, high quality education and care for young children which meets the individual needs of children attending the setting.
Iqra Preschool is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and equal opportunities in employment. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
You will:
Provide the children with a safe, secure and home like environment
Operate a key person system and liaise with parents, carers, staff and directors
Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group and each individual child’s needs and interests
Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team
Essential criteria
Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification.
Experience of working in a mainstream nursery or preschool.
Sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Good communication skills.
Days: Monday – Friday, term time for 38 weeks per annum.
Hours: 9am – 4pm
Start Date: June 2025
