We’re looking for a Building Services Technician to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and improving our infrastructure.
Location: ManchesterWorking Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
As a Building Services Technician, you will:
- Provide front-line maintenance and repair of site facilities and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and repair faults in domestic water and sanitation systems, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Carry out basic plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and decorating tasks.
- Monitor and report substandard conditions, ensuring high standards of building finishes.
- Deliver contractor inductions and ensure compliance with site rules.
- Complete minor electrical works and support lifecycle issue identification.
- Contribute to planned maintenance reviews and cost-effectiveness improvements.
- Support Reliability Centred Maintenance and FMECA activities.
- Input and report on facility defects using CMMS systems.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
