Crynodeb

Purpose
Provide support in the production/assembly of precision engineering components to be used in the Medical industry.

Job Description
• To operate, after suitable training and instruction, various items of equipment to manufacture precision engineering components.
• To ensure work station is set up and work is carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure throughout production.
• To ensure products produced meet customer quality specification.
• Work to Standard procedures.
• To produce/support in the production assembly of precision engineering components meeting customer quality specification and within agreed timescales
• To ensure the quality of products or components meets both specification and the expectations of the subsequent operation, ensuring completed work is clearly identified and quantified
• To ensure all supervision is made aware of any concerns with components, products, equipment or facilities, and to always ask for assistance if necessary
• To minimise and report all scrap for any allocated operation
• To operate in a safe and responsible manner with regard to other employees and ensure appropriate PPE is utilised at all times
• General housekeeping duties, ensuring workspace is kept clean and safe at all times
• To carry out any duty requested by Team Leader/Manager within their capabilities.

• Good hand-eye coordination on precision tasks
• Dexterous with good attention to detail
• Speed and accuracy when performing repetitive tasks
• A high level of concentration
• Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines
• Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings for micro parts – training provided
• IT skills for computerised equipment- training provided

Working pattern
Must be able to work 3 rotational shifts, one week of each shift early/late/nights
Extended working hours may be required to support the business, and this may be during the normal working week and/or weekends.
