PCCU Support Worker - Band 3
Bart’s Health Children's Hospital at The Royal London is looking for band 3 Support Workers to work within Children’s Critical Care.
The post holders will be able to develop new skills and knowledge through a variety of clinical experiences and training.
About You:
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate in their application
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or willing to work towards
- Experience of working in a care environment
- Patient focussed, capable of dealing with sensitive and distressing situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working with Children and families
The post holders will be motivated, committed individuals who have an interest in caring for sick children.
The post holder will be an integral part of the nursing team actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients and of the service in accordance with agreed standards under direct supervision of the registered nurse. The post holder will develop essential competencies though training and practice to ensure safety and quality are the priority
