Summary
A unique opportunity has arisen for a casual Facilities Officer to join our small and multi-disciplinary Property Services team. The role provides cover to the Facilities service in the daily running of Swale House. The hours of work will be between 7am – 8pm Monday – Thursday and 7am – 2:30pm Friday, up to 34 hours per week.
You will be responsible for all duties associated with the running of Swale House including opening & closing the building, managing security, post, deliveries and supervising contractors.
You will carry out all methods of printing production in the Council’s Print Room, ensuring it provides an efficient and high-quality service to all departments. This will include operating all high volume copiers, producing fast, quality printing including meeting tight deadlines to customer requirements.

About You
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to both internal and external customers. The candidate should have a good understanding of health and safety in relation to buildings and knowledge of fire and security procedures. You must be able to work flexible hours including nights, early mornings and pre-arranged weekends.
