Situated in the picturesque village of Walsham-le-Willows, close to Bury St Edmunds, Diss and Thetford, Little Willows Pre-School is a thriving, family-focussed early years setting. We welcome children from two to four years old throughout the week and support parents with additional wrap-around care for children up to 11 years of age where required.
With a focus on supporting our Children through open-ended play, empowering them to be independent, and nurturing friendships, Little Willows is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Owing to our success, we are looking to grow our team of Play Practitioners so that we can continue to offer our Children and Families exceptional education and care. We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced Practitioners (Level 2 or 3) to join us at Little Willows.
You will join a skilled, experienced, and supportive team and will benefit from ongoing training, CPD, and 1-2-1 mentoring. Following a successful settling-in period, you will be supported to explore and develop special interest areas such as Forest School, Language and SEND support.

The successful candidate should have;
· Minimum Level 2/3 childcare and education qualifications or equivalent essential
· A solid understanding of childhood development, EYFS, and managing behaviour. You will support and empower children to thrive and learn through play
· Ability to develop, provide and support stimulating and thoughtful activities for children
· Outstanding communication skills at all levels from Children to Parents and other staff
· Understanding of the Ofsted inspection frameworks and what it takes to maintain our Good rating
· Flexibility and adaptability
· SenCo qualified is an advantage but not a requirement of the role
