Service Delivery Field Engineer – Autos on Show
Hybrid, Rockingham (plus travel to sites required 2-3 times per week)
£30,000 to £36,000 plus company car
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing software company. Working with some of the world’s best-known companies, as a Service Delivery Field Engineer, your primary role will be to manage a support work queue and be responsible for maintenance on the offsite production environment.
AutosOnShow was established in 2010 and is a successful global software development company providing video and imaging solutions to a number of clients across the automotive industry. Expanding into global markets, the business is going through a period of rapid growth and expansion and has won numerous awards for its video and imaging solutions including Microsoft Innovation of the Year Award and Retail Week Digital Excellence Award.
Key responsibilities
Communicate with customers and users via phone and email and face to face to demonstrate, troubleshoot and diagnose issues
Troubleshoot technical issues using remote tools and gather diagnostic information
Writing and updating support cases on a ticketing system
Writing and updating feature requests and bug reports for the development team
Creating and updating internal documentation and wiki guides
Visiting customers sites to carry out break fix within AutosOnShow imagery studios
Key skills
Experience working within a support department
Great verbal and written communication skills both with customers and other team members
Proficient with Microsoft office package
Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge, Gateways, Subnet masks, DNS
Windows Operating System desktop administration
Working experience of SQL statements
Desktop administration
The ability to work well in a team or as an individual
The ability to work at height
Advantageous but not essential:
Experience of IOS operating system
Experience of the following
Filezila
