Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on behaviour management strategies across Years 7-13.
- Act as the first point of contact for behavioural incidents and referrals.
- Mentor students to improve engagement and conduct.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support student welfare.
- Administer interventions, detentions, and pastoral tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate records using systems like SIMS and CPOMS.
- Support safeguarding procedures alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Promote high standards of attendance and punctuality.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in behaviour management within a school or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident in handling behavioural challenges and promoting restorative practices.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Familiarity with school systems such as SIMS and CPOMS (training provided).
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
