The Role:
• To support a 44-year-old lady with a diagnosis of sacral instability, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue ADHD and ASD to maintain their independence and support them in their day-to-day life to enjoy singing, swimming and a good natter.
Main Duties:
• Household tasks
• Shopping
• Social activities
• Pet care
• Occasional help dressing
• Help with meals
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Strong enough to move and put away heavy packages (like dog food and cat litter)
• Must like cats and dogs
• Swimmer preferred but not essential
• Full driving licence and aged 25 and over for insurance purposes to drive Motability car
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
FOR SE: Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate. Self employed preferred.
FOR EMPLOYED: Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
Hours: 13 hours:
Mondays , 2 hours; Wednesdays, 4 hours (evening); Thursdays, 7 hours
Pay: £20.00 per hour Self Employed
