A Vacancy at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urology management team as Service Manager from September 2025. The post holder will provide leadership to the administrative teams for the Andrology and Reconstructive Urology sub-specialities in the department, as well as to the Westmoreland Street Outpatients Department.

This role requires someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, able to manage a high-volume workload and has strong operational and problem-solving experience. The role of Service Manager in Urology will have a strong focus on delivering positive patient experience, supporting the department to achieve key performance targets and take an active role in delivering service improvements for both patient pathways and the Outpatients department.

This is a full-time post working closely alongside a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day service management of their respective Urology sub-specialities, and the outpatients department with responsibility for patient access to both inpatient and outpatient care. The Service Manager will be the initial point of escalation for issues and challenges that arise and will work closely with administrative, clinical and management teams to problem solve and drive forwards service improvements. This post is key to the delivery of performance targets including activity and workforce within the Division and providing leadership to the administrative teams within Urology to provide a high-quality administrative service to all patients, carers and referring practitioners.

The post holder will be a team player who must promote and demonstrate our Trust Values, behaviours and standards.
