Our client, a leading Facilities Maintenance provider, is looking for a Building Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Peterborough. This is a static site-based role, perfect for someone ready to apply their all-round maintenance skills.

What We're Looking For

We need a proactive individual with:

  • Basic electrical knowledge: Capable of handling minor electrical repairs and fault finding.
  • Basic plumbing skills: Competent with general plumbing tasks and leak fixes.
  • Fabric maintenance experience: Confident with general building fabric duties like repairs, painting, and carpentry.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and building fabric.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and general upkeep to ensure the building remains in excellent condition.
  • Assisting with other facilities tasks as required.
