Summary
In this role, you will:
• Lead and manage finance and treasury operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and strategic oversight.
• Support the development of funding strategies to secure future investment and growth.
• Provide clear and concise financial reporting to a variety of stakeholders, including Board committees.
• Play a pivotal role in business development, overseeing financial due diligence for acquisitions and joint ventures.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the finance function aligns with organisational objectives.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, creating a collaborative and motivated work environment.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
• Significant post-qualification finance experience at a senior level, ideally in the social housing sector.
• Treasury management expertise, ensuring compliance with existing funders and securing future funding.
• Strong team leadership and management skills, with an ability to develop, inspire and support colleagues.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information in an accessible way for a variety of audiences.
• A passion for continuous improvement and a strong understanding of the purpose of housing associations.
• A CCAB qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA) or equivalent experience.
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.
