An After-school Nanny is needed by
this wonderful family based in Radlett, Hertfordshire to assist them in looking after their three school-aged children. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and light housekeeping tasks effectively. The role would then involve making dinner meals for the children and overseeing light homework for the youngest. They would prefer a good cook who can prepare simple yet delicious meals for the children. It would be helpful if the nanny will available to be in the house all day during the school holidays, although this is not essential. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car but the family can provide a car.
They prefer someone who has good communication skills and who is fluent with the English language. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm for 18 hours per week plus babysitting for 2 or 3 times per month. Potential more hours during school holidays.
Duties include:
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Driving the children to activities after school.
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
The family is seeking someone who can start on the 3rd of June 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
