We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires physical stamina, a willingness to work outdoors, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.
You will need a cscs card and ideally with own transport.
Duties
Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding to maintain the appearance of gardens and lawns.
Build and dig as necessary for planting new flora or installing landscape features.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens.
Maintain existing landscape features by pruning, fertilising, and caring for plants as needed.
Follow safety protocols while working with mechanical equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools is advantageous.
A basic knowledge related to landscaping equipment is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors are essential traits for success in this role.
