The Best Connection are looking for Pickers/Packers to work for a company in Chorley, Lancashire.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling returned goods, particularly clothing, ensuring accurate processing, and utilising RF scanners to track inventory. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail to maintain high-quality standards in order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities: Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack returned items for restocking or resale. Use RF scanners to track inventory, update stock levels, and ensure correct item identification. Inspect returned goods for damage, defects, or incorrect items before processing. Maintain accurate records of stock movement and report discrepancies. Organise products efficiently for storage or redistribution. Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations. Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet daily targets and improve workflow. Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory tracking systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights.
Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer literacy for inventory management.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday
08:00-16:30
