We are looking for a compassionate Housing Support Worker to support ex-offenders in achieving stable housing and independence. The role involves providing person-centred support, managing properties, and collaborating with partner agencies.
Job Role: Housing Support Worker
Location: Colchester
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly support and life skills assistance to service users
- Manage 3-4 properties, ensuring they meet required standards
- Support move-on planning and engage with agencies to ensure successful outcomes
- Occasionally work Saturdays with Monday off
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Enhanced Adult DBS and HMPPS clearance
- Car driver with own vehicle required
