What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
- Overseeing thepreparation and reviewof statutory accounts and management reports.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts team.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines.
- Coordinating workflow, setting deadlines, and maintaining efficiency across client engagements.
- Liaising with clients, responding to queries, and offering strategic advice.
- Working closely with the senior leadership team to identify growth and service opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Minimum of2 years' experiencein a general accountancy practice servicing SME clients.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Client-facing confidence with strong commercial awareness.
- Solid understanding of accounting software and reporting systems.
