Crynodeb
In relation to this post, the Department of Gastroenterology is looking to appoint a Gastroenterologist with an interest in IBD to support our provision in Leeds. 2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST The aim of the post is contribute to growing work load in general gastroenterology and specifically in managing complex IBD and small bowel. The post holder will take part in the general gastroenterology inpatient care which is organised on a two weeks on 12 weeks off rotational basis. In addition to this, there is a further two week block providing midweek on call including the management of acute admissions and gastrointestinal bleeding, within each 14 week period. In the outpatient setting we expect the post holder to help deliver timely high quality care by providing 3 general and specialist gastroenterology clinics. In addition the post holder will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching, departmental audit and governance and will have opportunities to develop research interests as desired.
