Pomfret Woodland Community Nursery is a not for profit organisation based in Pontefract.
We are a busy community nursery with 3 age groups of children, ranging from 0-4 years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team, working 37 hours per week. We are open to full time, part time or job share applicants.
The right candidate will have knowledge and understanding of:
EYFS and child development.
Experience of planning and assessment.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
First aid and food hygiene qualifications are desirable but training will be provided.
GCSE English C or above or equivalent.
One of the most important qualities that we are looking for is an individual that is passionate about working with young children and been part of their learning journey, helping to shape young minds and give them the best start in life.
