The Digital Infrastructure Operations Manager will be accountable for monitoring all of the core IT systems and services across the RSFT estate. Theyll be expected to implement workarounds and instigate disaster recovery plans whilst a permanent fix it being sought by the resolver groups. RSFT IT needs to be more proactive than reactive therefore this role plays a vital part of that. They will need to be closely aligned to the SNPs with the right level of technical access to systems to resolve issues. The role holder will need to be flexible and maybe required to work cross sites. Overnight the Digital Infrastructure Operations Manager will be accountable for ensuring health and guidelines are being adhered to and provide onsite staff Management for any of the IT teams. As the subject matter expert for technical infrastructure and disaster recovery, this role will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the IT and Trust wide disaster recovery plans; understanding how these impact the ways of working within a clinical setting and how we remain resilient. As healthcare moves towards a more digital age, the resilience on disaster recovery processes increases and this role will be crucial in taking the Trust to the next level of maturity. Be a conduit for communicating the security improvement programme practices, processes, principles, and policies to the IT department and wider Trust user base. Embed security into the IT and Trust culture.
