Our client is large food processing site looking for seasonal cover requirements, for approximately 6 months with some candidates being required much longer. This is a temporary role for an HGV C+E (Class 1) Driver at Millison Chase Limited located in our client’s depot in Tewkesbury.
The HGV C+E Driver will be responsible for daily deliveries, ensuring the safe transportation of goods, and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.
Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation
The job its self will consist of driving articulated C+E refrigerated lorry with 1 to 3 drops maximum with minimal H/ball other than bars & cage work at RDC's and NDC's etc, there will be some trunk runs required but not all the time.
Qualifications
Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) license
Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
Excellent communication and time management skills
UK CPC card
UK digi Card
No penalty points
1 year driving experience for insurance Purposes
Pay
Days Mon to fri £15.50 per hour
Nights Mon to Fri £16.50 per hour
Days Weekends £18.00 per hour
With holiday pay this rate is equivalent to between £17.37ph and £20.17ph your holiday is manageable with full transparency through our app.
