We have a new and exciting opportunity for afull timeband5Speech and Language Therapist to join our team based in East Berkshire. 


You will have an interest in developing skills to support children and young people and will be supported by an experienced teamof Speech and Language Therapists to develop your skill set andautonomy in working with children and young people.You will need to be enthusiastic,demonstratethat you have excellent communication and people skills, andhave an understanding ofthe diverse needs of children and young people. Any experience of working with children and young people is essential, whether as part of student placement or out of work activities.


This role will be ideal for aSpeech and Language Therapist looking to develop their skills working with Children and Young People across community and school settings


Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00 but we can offer some flexibility around this. The role will involve some travel but also offers opportunities for flexible working. 

• Take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role.

• Carry out clinical assessments within your level of clinical knowledge and skill.

• Identifyrelevant therapy needs from which you can develop and deliver an individualised management plan, with support from a senior therapist as needed.

• Contribute to and deliver training to schools/early years setting, parents, CYP and staff, as part of therapy support and delivery.

• Contribute to the implementation and development of the impact-based model of clinical decision making.

• Work collaboratively with education, local authority, medical and nursing staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service along withPhysiotherapyand Occupational Therapy colleagues.
