Our well loved Accounts Assistant is moving to Cornwall, therefore we are looking for a proactive and organised Accounts Assistant to join our busy office team. We have been providing staff for 25 years and have a strong portfolio of loyal clients
At Medteam you will play a key role in keeping our accounts running smoothly and supporting the wider finance function.
The ideal candidate would be qualified and have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience. Our current Accounts Assistant is happy to provide total support.
You will be involved with assisting our accountants to prepare Tax returns and Monthly and Quarterly reports, using Sage Online Cloud Accounting Systems. Moreover, you must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to deal with clients from all backgrounds and industries and possess a strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities: - Helping to Prepare Accounts and Self Assessment Tax Returns - Bookkeeping and Management Accounts preparation - Managing a portfolio of clients - Reconciling Bank Accounts, VAT Returns
- Be proficient in Sage.

Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
* Managing petty cash and expenses
* Assisting with payroll preparation
* Supporting month-end reporting and VAT returns
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
* General administrative duties to support the finance and office teams
About You:
* 3 years Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident using Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage
* Good communication skills and a strong team player
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (preferred but not essential)
