Summary
The Victim Centre of Excellence is a national team within the Crown Prosecution Service’s Transformation and Change Directorate. We are focused on driving improvements in the quality of service provided to victims. Our work involves supporting projects within the Victim Transformation Programme and operational teams; strengthening service delivery and ensuring that the needs of victims are central in our work. As part of this, we also develop clear, accessible public-facing content for our external website to help victims better understand our role, their rights, and what they can expect.
We are now seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team. In this role, as Victim Centre of Excellence Manager, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of service we provide to victims, helping to embed a culture of empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Working with a high degree of independence, you will drive improvements by helping to develop and maintain consistent service standards that reflect our strategic goals, operational insights, and feedback from victims. You will contribute to the creation of practical tools, training programmes, guidance materials, and victim-facing communications that support operational teams to deliver a high-quality service.
Collaboration will be central to your work. You will engage with colleagues across the organisation, as well as external stakeholders, to design frameworks and solutions that embed a victim-focused approach into all areas of our service. You will monitor performance against service standards, identify barriers to excellence, and recommend or implement improvements where needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that every victim receives a consistently high-quality service.
