With 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye, and Outer Hebrides, we cover a geographic area larger than Wales, comprising 40% of Scotland’s coastline. Our campuses and centres are located within historic towns and villages, set amongst the shorelines, mountains, and moors, with local staff working across our region to support our students and communities.
Position: We are seeking an Engagement Assistant to be based at our Barra campus.
Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Engagement Lead in the day to day running of the centre, supporting students and any other activity linked to the Centre / Campus and a range of tasks and work flexibly within the Engagement Team.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidate will have a good general education and have knowledge and experience of working in a customer facing role and of Microsoft Office. They should also have evidence of delivering a first-class service to a diverse range of customers.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
Salary: £25,313 - £27,431 per annum, pro rata, plus Islands Allowance
Location: Barra
Working Hours: 10.5 hours per week, Fixed term for 12 months
