Job Description:
A well-regarded secondary SEN school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated and experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role involves supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of complex special educational needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties.
You will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop independence, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs

Support with learning, sensory activities, and emotional regulation
Support with learning, sensory activities, and emotional regulation

Use communication aids such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices

Assist with personal care and mobility where necessary

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to follow individual plans

Requirements:
