Key Responsibilities:- Student Support: Provide personalised assistance to students, helping them with their educational and social development.
- Classroom Assistance: Work alongside the class teacher to facilitate a productive and engaging learning environment.
- Behavioural Guidance: Assist in managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Resource Management: Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
- Activity Supervision: Supervise students during activities, break times, and other school events.
- Special Needs Support: Offer dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they receive appropriate assistance.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Qualifications: A relevant educational or childcare qualification is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Empathy and Patience: A caring and patient attitude towards working with children.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in different classroom settings and adapt to various teaching methods.
- Safeguarding Awareness: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- DBS Check: A current enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
