Warehouse Operative
Location: Chapeltown
Shifts: Monday to Friday 14:00- 22:00
Pay: £12.60 (overtime after 37.5 hours is £18.90)
Manpower is currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team in Chapeltown. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a work/life balance with no weekend work!
Our client is looking at taking on staff on a temp to perm basis for those that are suitable for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming goods and supplies for damage.
- Breakdown and rebuild pallets as required
- Prepare vehicles for next-day deliveries and coordinate with third-party couriers.
- Operate MHE equipment like pallet trucks.
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate records.
- Perform other general warehouse duties.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have previous warehouse experience.
- Valid Counterbalance licences are preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in an open warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Seeking a long-term role.
