About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our caring and committed team, providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and autism in supported living environments. These roles are based in Derby, covering the DE7 and DE11 areas.

Candidates must live locally to these areas or within a reasonable commuting distance.

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion for the people we support. The role involves both one-to-one and lone working, supporting individuals with their daily routines, personal care, and social activities, as well as administering medication and using hoisting equipment when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in supported living settings
Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills
Lone working as part of service requirements
Administering medication safely in accordance with care plans and policies
Using hoisting and other moving and handling equipment safely and appropriately
Promoting meaningful engagement in social and community-based activities
Completing accurate and detailed records and reports
Working in partnership with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Support Worker with adults with learning disabilities and autism
Experience in medication administration
Confidence and capability to work alone and manage responsibilities independently
Hoisting experience is essential
Must live within or very close to Derby DE7 and DE11 areas
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
A caring, patient, and professional attitude
