We’re seeking a Project Manager to join Movar’s expanding consultancy team, working on high-impact cost-efficiency and improvement projects across the Water Networks sector.

Founded in 2013, Movar is a specialist project delivery consultancy which helps organisations improve how projects are delivered. With over a decade of success behind them and ambitious growth ahead, they are building a team of project professionals who are curious, collaborative, and passionate about creating lasting change.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a well-established £10m+ portfolio of projects, seeing them through the full lifecycle, from conception through to handover. Working closely with external customers, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you’ll implement and embed strategic improvements, tackle root causes of inefficiency, and deliver data-led, measurable results.

Expect a hands-on and varied remit, from managing project governance, milestone tracking and stakeholder comms, to helping shape new workstreams that drive cost-efficiency. You’ll also provide key project reporting, manage risks and change controls, and bring structure to complex programmes.

This is a great opportunity to join a people-focused, growing consultancy where your voice will be heard, your ideas welcomed, and your contribution recognised. Whilst Movar support remote working, you’ll be expected to travel to client sites and attend the office on a weekly basis.

Key Requirements: You should be a confident and experienced Project Manager with a CV that demonstrates:

• 8+ years in project controls, with at least 3 years in a client-facing or consultancy role
• Proven experience managing complex capital or infrastructure projects (utilities sector experience ideal)
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Power BI
• A strong understanding of governance, scheduling, performance reporting and risk management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• A proactive mindset and flexible approach to working across multiple assignments
• A degree in Project Management, Engineering or similar. PMI-SP or AACE PSP certifications a plus

You’ll ideally be based in the South East, preferably north of London, with good access to Peterborough and the Midlands. In return, Movar offers a permanent full-time role (contractors considered), remote-first working, and the chance to help shape a fast-growing, start-up-feel consultancy.

Expect a competitive salary with a package that includes company pension, life insurance, and a supportive culture focused on autonomy, collaboration, and career development. Once your current assignment concludes, you’ll move straight onto the next.
