Crynodeb
To work as an independent practitioner using a specialist level of knowledge and skills in the provision of a dietetic service to a caseload of patients with neurological diagnoses in their own homes and care homes and a caseload of patients requiring Home Enteral Feeding. To work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver dietetic care to patients during their admission to Danesbury Neurological Centre. To liaise with other healthcare professionals, including secondary and tertiary care centres, in the coordination and handover of care for patients with neurological conditions. To contribute to the training programmes for health care professionals. To provide support and mentorship to newly qualified dietitians and dietetic assistants. To provide support, training and feedback for student dietitians. To provide group education based on the needs of the service.
