Crynodeb
To provide specialist care and support to all patients and users of the Radiology service primarily within interventional radiology (elective and emergency procedures) ensuring dignity and privacy To ensure the maintenance of a high quality patient focussed care at all times through the effective leadership, management of staff and resources To provide effective leadership and to act as a good role model, working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and co-ordinate all aspects of care in the best interests of the patient and family To provide supervision, support and education to qualified and unqualified staff To promote the role of the operating department practitioner To communicate effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to co-ordinate all aspects of patient care To liaise and work closely with the person taking continuing responsibility for the IR suite To accept personal responsibility and accountability for infection prevention and control practice For a full comprehensive list of main responsibilities and duties, please kindly refer to job description and personal specification attached.
