HOME CHECKS ADVISOR REQUIRED: Peterborough
Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Home Checks Advisor carrying out assessments and offering practical support in the homes of older people in Peterborough.
The Home Checks Advisor works across Age UKCAP and closely with Peterborough City Council’s Adult Social Care. Home Checks, by way of a detailed and in-depth health and welfare assessment, are offered to identify the needs of the older person and provide minor aids and equipment that can help mitigate accidents and promote independence in the home.
The older person’s wellbeing is considered a priority at all times.
You will be required to complete Trusted Assessor training.
o Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday)
o Location: this post is home-based but travel is required throughout Peterborough.
o Salary: £25,207 per annum
o Closing date for applications: Friday June 6th, 2025

The successful candidate will be required to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service check at an ENHANCED level.
