We have a vast range of reliable, well-maintained tools and plant available for delivery to our customers.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Focus. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting plant to various job sites and customer addresses, ensuring timely and safe deliveries and collections.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport plant to designated locations.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
Communicate effectively with customers, site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist with depot duties as needed, including inventory management.
Requirements
Valid C1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Valid digital tacho card.
Driver CPC card; 35 hrs complete.
Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday + weekends if needed
