Bedlinog community Primary School is part of the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership, a federation between Trelewis Primary and Bedlinog Community Primary School and is a forward-thinking school that aims to ensure that all pupils are able to learn and grow together. The School has grown from strength to strength and the Governing Body are now looking for an inspirational, innovative, highly motivated and conscientious practitioner to join our hard-working, committed team at our school. The candidate will initially be based in a Foundation Phase class.
We are looking for someone who is:
Energetic and enthusiastic
Able to use their initiative
Committed to providing high quality provision
A good communicator and listener
Knowledgeable about the Foundation Phase and has an understanding about how young children learn
Able to develop positive relationships with Pupils, Colleagues, Parents and Governors and demonstrate excellent communication skills
Committed to developing inclusion and equality of learning
Able to work enthusiastically as part of a supportive team and have high expectations of themselves and others
Able to carry out basic computer skills
Arrangements:
Closing date for the post will be on Friday 6th June 2025.
Shortlisting will take place on Friday 13th June. Successful candidates will be contacted.
Arrangements for an observation with a short pupil focussed task will take place on Thursday 19th June at Bedlinog Community Primary School.
Interviews will be arranged with successful candidates on Friday 20th June at Bedlinog Community Primary School.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all school Learning Support workers will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). All applicants will be subject to an enhance disclosure and barring Service check.
