Summary

Location: We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester, Edinburgh & London and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.
Salary: £41,364 - £50,056 (National: £41,364-£46,654, London: £44,645 - £50,056) plus £750 scarce skills allowance
Working Patterns: All our vacancies are offered as a flexible option of Full time, Part time, Flexible working, Job Share

We are looking for talented Data Engineers to join teams in the Public Sector Division - in fact, this will be the first Data Engineer role within the division!

In this role, you will focus on building robust, scalable data solutions and Python-based software that our production teams can integrate into their operations. You'll be responsible for managing our Python codebase, creating intuitive user interfaces, and connecting to cloud databases, helping to ensure our systems remain efficient and safe. We also use SQL and R.



What we're looking for:
-Ability to lead the development of ETL pipelines
-Understand data processing in distributed systems and be able to design, write and operate -ETL pipelines in this context
-Experience developing in Cloudera or Google Cloud Platform
-Experience using Git, GitHub or GitLab version control
