The Role
The organization is undergoing an enhanced digital transformation to ensure all processes are 'digital by default' and to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner. You will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Senior Development and Cyber Security Officer by designing, developing, integrating, and supporting a variety of technical projects to facilitate this transformation.
The Experience you will bring
You must have experience in supporting applications and database products on Windows-based virtual hardware.
You must have experience in managing third-party upgrades, such as Oracle and MSSQL, and in installing vendor-supplied application patches to enhance functionality, resolve application errors, and comply with legislative changes
You will possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a small team, maintain a keen attention to detail, and prioritize complex tasks efficiently in a dynamic and busy environment.
You must have substantial programming experience in C#, along with a background in developing system integrations, analysing data, and creating line-of-business applications.
You must have experience in developing integrations between in-house and third-party systems using various techniques, such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and CSV, as well as expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and SQL.
You must have experience with technology stacks including WinForms, Web, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework/.NET 6-9 (Core), Blazor, WPF, and .NET MAUI (for mobile apps).
You must be eager to learn new skills, adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, and have a strong focus on security.
Please note, the successful applicant for the above post will be background checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
