Crynodeb
Provide clinical leadership and be the Responsible Clinician for the patients referred to the FIRST and DISS teams. Review new patients in a timely manner and oversee the clinical management of patients in community for hospital avoidance and Crisis interventions. Will be available for timely reviews and meetings and facilitate discharge planning to community or to escalate to an inpatient admission as a gatekeepers. The post holder may need to attend MDT on inpatient units only for complex patients. Be actively involved in supporting staff development and in effecting continual service improvement. Provide clinical supervision to the SAS doctors. Clinical Audit: The post holder will participate in audit to ensure the continuous improvement of the service. The post holder will only be expected to provide cover for holidays and absences to colleagues with mutual consultation and agreement.
