Band 7- Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Pre-school Children including dysphagia and complex needs.

We are looking to recruit a Highly Specialist SLT experienced in working with a mixed paediatric caseload of children with eating and drinking difficulties and a range of speech, language and communication needs.

You will also use your clinical expertise to provide supervision and training to therapists within the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team in the London Borough of Brent

We are looking for someone who can:

Jointly lead on the provision of dysphagia assessment and intervention in Brent through leading on relevant projects and initiatives.

Develop and provide a specialised speech and language therapy service to patients referred with communication and/or swallowing disorders.
provide specialist knowledge, advice, training and teaching to parents, carers, students and the speech and language therapy team.

Provide clinical supervision and line management to less experienced members of the team working in dysphagia.

Continue to develop the complex communication pathway including the use of AAC.
