A well-known family-owned water treatment company is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Engineer to join our progressive team. This is a full-time opportunity for those looking to advance their career with a dynamic and growing company.
Your new role
As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that water treatment systems operate efficiently, safely and in compliance with regulations. Your duties will involve Routine Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Repairs, System Monitoring, Installation and Commissioning, Customer Support, Documentation and Reporting and Compliance. See below the requirements for this type of role.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in water treatment or effluent treatment (preferred).
- Have 18th Edition and Mechanical Plumbing experience.
- Background in swimming pool maintenance, 18th edition electrical qualification, or mechanical qualifications (advantageous).
- Strong skills in electrical diagnostics and control panels.
- Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and make on-site decisions to solve problems
- Electrical control panel experience
What you'll get in return
- Salary:
£36,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience) with overtime for out-of-hours work and on-call rota. - Benefits:
Company van (including fuel), mobile phone, expenses, pension scheme, PPE, uniform, and tools provided. - Holidays:
20 working days plus all statutory holidays per annum. - Hours:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional call-outs (paid at overtime rate). - Training:
Comprehensive in-house, in-field, and OEM supplier-specific training. - Travel:
Occasional travel with possible overnight stays as required.
