Role Description:
A digital identity verification Architect needs a broad range of technical and soft skills to design, implement, and manage robust identity verification systems. Key skills include strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), security principles, cloud computing, and data privacy. They should also be able to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
* Identity and Access Management (IAM): Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.
* Security Principles: Understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
* Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud security, and service models.
* Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security infrastructure.
* Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and experience with API development.
* Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and their use in identity verification systems.
* Understanding of cryptographic principles and algorithms used in digital identity verification.
* Familiarity with biometric technologies and their application in identity verification.
* Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for identity verification systems.
* Knowledge of different identity verification methods (e.g., knowledge-based authentication, 2FA, biometric verification).
* Understanding of API and microservice architectures and their use in building identity verification systems.
* Knowledge of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and its use in directory services.
