Hours: Monday to Friday - 22:00 to 07:00

A leading commercial vehicle operation in Worksop is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team on the night shift. You'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of HGVs and trailers to MOT standard in a professional and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic
• Carry out servicing, inspections and repairs on all makes of HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
• Attend roadside breakdowns and customer sites when required
• Ensure all compliance and job card documentation is completed accurately
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety policies and workshop practices
• Liaise with the parts department for timely ordering and fitting
• Keep your product knowledge up to date through ongoing training
• Maintain a clean and professional working environment
What We're Looking For
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven HGV Mechanic experience in a busy workshop environment
• Full UK Driving Licence (HGV/LGV licence preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Understanding of workshop health and safety procedures
• ADR licence desirable
