Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to drive significant business expansion within a key account in the insurance sector. This individual will be responsible for revenue growth, account health, and fostering long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large accounts, particularly in the insurance industry, with expertise in data transformation, mainframe transformation, and Guidewire solutions.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring a track record of exceeding growth targets and delivering exceptional value to clients.
Experience:
Experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles within IT professional services or management consulting, ideally in the insurance domain.
Expertise in selling Guidewire solutions, data transformation, and mainframe transformation.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required; MS or MBA is preferred.
Preferred qualifications:
• Background in project environments and application development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to conceptualize and present business transformation solutions.
• Ability to lead P&L management for accounts with significant revenue impact.
• Familiarity with industry trends and a proven ability to drive innovation.
Skills:
• Strong relationship-building capabilities with CxO-level executives.
• Exceptional strategic planning and consultative selling skills.
• Deep understanding of insurance business processes, IT tools, and solution domains.
Leadership
• Demonstrated ability to lead account portfolios and deliver measurable revenue and profit growth.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural environment with diverse teams.
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Drive Revenue Growth:
o Expand account revenues from $1.5 million to $4–5 million within defined timelines.
o Identify and close new opportunities, including renewals and expansion deals.
• Client Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture senior-level relationships with client stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner in their transformation journey.
o Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and ensure consistent engagement with decision-makers and influencers.
• Strategic Account Leadership:
o Act as the end-to-end owner of the account, driving strategies that align with client objectives and internal capabilities.
o Collaborate with delivery, operations, and finance teams to review account performance and align on execution plans.
• Solution Selling:
o Leverage in-depth knowledge of insurance, Guidewire solutions, and transformation services to address client challenges effectively.
o Lead innovation discussions and provide thought leadership to position the organization as a strategic partner.
• Execution Excellence:
o Ensure successful delivery of solutions, achieving high levels of client satisfaction across all revenue portfolios.
o Partner with internal teams to execute transformation agendas, implement new initiatives, and meet client expectations.
• Collaboration and Alliances:
o Work with multiple service lines, innovation teams, and business units to create comprehensive account plans.
o Forge partnerships with existing alliances to unlock growth opportunities.
