Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Pay: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker with strong ductwork fabrication skills to join a growing team at one of the UK’s leading providers of acoustic and ventilation systems.
Based in Coleshill, you’ll be fabricating, assembling, and installing bespoke ducting and sheet metal systems for commercial and industrial clients. If you take pride in precision work and want long-term, hands-on employment with a specialist manufacturer, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal ducting systems
• Reading and working from technical and engineering drawings
• Using fabrication equipment: guillotines, rollers, press brakes, etc.
• Carrying out MIG/TIG welding (preferred but not essential)
• Installing ductwork to required tolerances and standards
• Working with mild steel, aluminium, and galvanised materials
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards on the shop floor
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker (ductwork focus)
✅ Confident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
✅ Skilled with metalworking hand tools and machinery
✅ A strong work ethic and attention to detail
✅ Ability to work independently or as part of a team
✅ Welding experience is a bonus (but not required)
