MRICS-Qualified Rural Surveyors – Scotland -£50,000 per annum DOE - hybrid working + flexible hours + Benefits

The Job:
Are you an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on a wide range of rural and utility sector projects across Scotland. From facilitating infrastructure access and land transactions to delivering expert valuations and strategic consultancy, this role combines client engagement, land management, and high-level advisory work. You’ll play a key role in delivering integrated land solutions and contributing to the growth of a respected national consultancy.
Key responsibilities include:

- Managing land referencing, access negotiations, and compensation claims
- Overseeing acquisitions, servitudes, wayleaves, and property transactions
- Delivering RICS Red Book valuations and rural consultancy advice
- Engaging with clients, landowners, project teams, and stakeholders
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure and rural land projects

The Candidate:

- MRICS-qualified (Registered Valuer status desirable)
- Proven experience in rural surveying and consultancy
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of rural property, forestry, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors
- Practical experience in farming or forestry and utility land access issues is advantageous

- Competitive salary: £30,000 – £50,000 DOE, plus bonus and car allowance
