To programme lead on the design, development and delivery of a range of Inclusion workstreams for families or children and young. These workstreams will be driven by both local priorities and national policy reforms through the DfE SEND and Alternative Provision Change Programme



Key requirements:

Leadership experience in sectors which have lead to positive outcomes for children, young people and families with SEND.
Experience of effective working across organisational boundaries and use of influence within multi-agency settings which has led to improved outcomes for children, young people and families
Experience of implementing strategies for service development which has led to quality improvement
Proven track record of working at a senior leadership level and delivering systemic change.



Key Accountabilities

Lead and Manage Service Development
Drive the strategic development and continuous improvement of services for children, young people, and families with SEND by implementing effective service strategies and managing change initiatives that result in demonstrable quality improvements.
Deliver Collaborative Multi-Agency Working
Build and sustain productive partnerships across organisational boundaries, including education, health, and social care sectors, to ensure integrated approaches that lead to improved outcomes for children and families.
Provide Strategic Financial and Resource Leadership
Oversee substantial budgets and resources effectively, ensuring high standards of financial management and accountability, while aligning service delivery with organisational priorities and local needs.
Lead High-Performing Teams
Inspire, manage, and develop high-performing and innovative teams, ensuring effective staff performance management and handling of personnel issues to support service excellence.
Inform and Influence Policy and Governance
Operate with political awareness to advise and brief elected members, contribute to the shaping of corporate strategies, and ensure that local and national policy frameworks are embedded in service planning and delivery.
