Permanent position - term time only, 31 hours per week + 5 INSET days Salary: Grade 2 - £24,404 - £24,790
(Grade 3 £24,790 - £25,584 would be considered for experienced candidates)Grade 2 Actual salary £17,567 – £17,845 (pro rata)Norton Hill School is an oversubscribed, successful school serving Midsomer Norton and the surrounding area and is an integral part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. We are currently recruiting for a new Teaching Assistant based at Norton Hill School. We are looking to appoint an exceptional, highly motivated and hard-working Teaching Assistant to support in class, 1:1 and in specific interventions. The following would be desirable but not essential: English and Maths GCSEsExperience across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme We will provide training for inexperienced applicants. We would like to hear from you if you believe you can make a positive contribution to our school. Closing date: Friday 6th June
