An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join Mersea Ward at East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust, based at Colchester Hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is passionate about the care of patients to join our well-established Nursing team team, in delivering a 24/7 service with the ability to work collaboratively in developing our future services.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries.
This role is a Fixed Term/Secondment to cover Maternity Leave from 4th August 2025 to 3rd August 2026.
• As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing a Clinical Specialist Team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants contributing to the Trusts quality and governance agenda.
• You will work in partnership with the other Sisters/Charge Nurses in delivering a cohesive management approach to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Applicants must have an understanding of the current health agenda and national guidance which informs critical care practice.
